For the first nineteen years of my life, I had no idea something like this existed, and let alone, that I could be a part of it. To be with queer people all in a room, together, was something that impacted me so much and just provided a feeling of freedom and safety and love. I am very honored to have that experience now and hopefully again soon.

What is MBLGTACC?

The Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transexual Asexual College Conference (MBLGTACC) is an annual conference where over 2000 Midwestern LGBTQIA+ students can meet each other, attend educational and leadership workshops, and have fun!

MBLGTACC has 70 workshops, keynotes from LGBTQIA+ advocates, performances from popular entertainers, and opportunities to meet other queer people from all over the Midwest.

MBLGTACC began in 1992 in Des Moines through the collaboration of queer students at Iowa State University and Drake University and continues to be a destination for Midwestern LGBTQIA+ college students to gather.
